Training package

Covered over 5-day induction training with a blend of classroom practical training with a fully equipped training room, zoom training with group interaction and discussions, online surveys with quizzes, and written workbooks. The training covers the Care Certificate which is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors.

The Care Certificate is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are ‘new to care’ and should form part of a robust induction programme.

The Highfield Level 2 Certificate

All staff complete The Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Medication Handling and Administration for Care Settings (RQF) is a knowledge-only qualification that has been developed specifically to provide learners with the specialist knowledge in relation to medication handling and administration.

Giving learners the underpinning knowledge needed, the qualification is ideal for those workers already in care roles or preparing to enter employment.

Our medication level 2 training is accredited by Advantage Accreditation which sets the delivery standards to ensure your trainers deliver high-quality, effective training that is externally accredited.
